Program Overview
Helping Hearts Training Center’s Phlebotomy Technician Program is designed to prepare students with the essential skills needed for entry-level positions as Phlebotomists in various healthcare settings, such as medical offices and laboratories. This program combines comprehensive online and on-campus training to build a strong foundation in phlebotomy procedures and patient care
Graduates will be able to:
Identify phlebotomy tools and understand their applications.
Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy techniques, ensuring patient safety.
Recognize parts of the human body and understand the circulatory system’s functions concerning blood draws.

PH-602: Anatomy & Physiology
PH-603: Phlebotomy Equipment
PH-604: Safety in Phlebotomy, HIV/AIDS
PH-605: Phlebotomy Techniques
PH-606: Specimen Considerations & Special Procedures
Admissions Requirements
To enroll, applicants must:
1. Hold a high school diploma or GED.
2. Present valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, including Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
3. Pay a $150 registration fee ( non-refundable)
4. Complete enrollment application
Graduation Requirements
Graduates will receive a Phlebotomy Technician Certificate from Helping Hearts Training Center upon completing all courses and a minimum
GPA of 2.0

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam. The NHA CPT certification is a nationally recognized credential that demonstrates your skills and knowledge in phlebotomy, increasing your employability and career advancement opportunities.
